The Te Kauwhata Community House was established to give support and information to the people of Te Kauwhata and surrounding districts.

Our mission is to work together to build a stronger community based on values, community, cultural awareness, social justice, family and empathy.

We provide a wide range of support services and information, including a medical transport service for hospital appointments.

Medical transport

We offer a medical transport service to those who have no family, friends or any other way of getting to a hospital appointment.

Basic needs

We provide a foodbank and frozen meals to those who need it. We also offer emergency assistance for basic needs.

We provide free, confidential and non-judgemental advice from a trained budget advisor to anyone who is struggling with debt, or who wants to plan for the future.
