Whitianga Social Services is at the heart of our community.

Our mission is to provide services which empower people in our community to become self-reliant.

Our community centre provides a range of services and clinics that support the health and wellbeing of families and individuals and we reach across communities from Coromandel to Tairua including Cooks Beach and Hahei.

  • Ratonga Matua ~ Senior Services
  • Ētahi atu Ratonga ~ Other Services including budget advice, counselling, food parcels, volunteer drivers and much more.

Whitianga Social Services provides a range of large and small rooms for hire or for a koha. Email us to see if our rooms would be suitable for your group or business. 

We provide OSCAR after school care, budgeting assistance, grocery parcels, free counselling, social work support, supervised contact for non-custodial children and assistance with travel to Thames and Waikato hospitals as well as many more services. 


All of our staff and volunteers are fully vaccinated and Police vetted every 3 years.
