Description

MoleMap has been a pioneer in skin cancer screening and detection since 1996 and has clinics throughout New Zealand. Six of our clinics provide a skin cancer treatment service (see Contact Details on this page) meaning we can offer end-to-end care, from diagnosis through to management.

Most skin cancers, when found early, can be successfully treated and MoleMap’s custom-built early detection system and decades of experience means a prompt path to treatment.

Your skin cancer treatment begins with an initial consult where your doctor will review your report, answer your questions, discuss estimated treatment costs and work with you to develop a personalised treatment plan.

Treatments options:

  • surgery
  • topical
  • cryotherapy
  • photodynamic therapy (PDT)

Staff

  • Expertly trained melanographers that check skin all day, every day.
  • Consultant dermatologists for an expert diagnosis.
  • Skin doctors provide topical and advanced surgical treatment.

Minor Surgery

Minor surgery is commonly provided in primary care practices, providing fast, competent removal and biopsies of skin lesions. Other services include cosmetic work such as removal of benign moles and skin tags. Ingrown toenail surgery is also commonly provided. These conditions do not need to be referred to a hospital, perhaps saving you a long wait or a cancelled appointment when a more serious case takes priority.
