Description

Skinspots by MoleMap is a dedicated skin cancer clinic providing day-to-day skin cancer care, diagnosis and treatment, education, counselling, disease prevention and screening in our community.

Our services:

We ensure that we deliver the best treatment for each patient, whether it be monitoring, surgery or, where appropriate, topical treatment.  All clinical staff have undertaken advanced postgraduate training in the diagnosis and treatment of skin cancers.

Our satellite clinic at Ngongotaha Medical Centre - 17 Taui St, Rotorua, is available for skin checks only and by appointment.

Skin cancer service

Skin cancer services provide management of common skin cancers, such as basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma, and malignant melanoma. Skin cancer services can provide: Diagnosis: skin checks and biopsies can be used to identify suspicious moles, lesions, or spots and diagnose different types of skin cancer. Treatment: treatment options include surgical removal, cryotherapy, and topical treatments. Specialist Referral: for more complex cases providers can refer you to specialists for advanced care and treatment.

Skin cancer surgery

We’re fully equipped to handle skin cancer surgeries that don’t require general anaesthesia. Our skin cancer procedures, including excising skin cancers and reconstructing the affected areas, are conducted by doctors with extensive postgraduate training in skin cancer management.
