Years of practice: over 20 years.

Philosophy of care: I believe being a midwife is a very unique and specialised role. It is a privilege for me to work in partnership with women and their families and support networks at this special time of their lives. I ensure that women are given informed choices around their pregnancy, birth and postnatal care.

Birth facilities attended: home births, Botany Town Primary Birthing Unit and Middlemore Hospital.

General bio: I have a particular interest and specialisation in lactation consultancy and believe that every mother needs optimum care for her baby and herself and to be given accurate and consistent evidence-based knowledge and advice. I have just completed my re-certification in lactation in 2012 as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant.
