Accounts Receivable Office - Hospital Fees/Charges
The Accounts Receivable Office is the department that handles and manages the hospital charges for people who are not eligible for publicly funded health services.
New Zealand citizens or those who have obtained permanent residence are entitled to publicly funded healthcare.

If you need to be admitted to hospital, charges for ward stays are approximately $800.00 per day plus the costs of any treatments.
