Description

MedicAlert® Foundation New Zealand is a vital service for those with hidden illnesses and provides valuable peace of mind. MedicAlert® provides secure access to your vital personal and medical information whenever and wherever it is needed by clinicians or emergency services in New Zealand or when you are travelling abroad. Additionally, your next of kin or emergency contact information is also available.

If you have an Advance Directive or Care Plan, Enduring Power of Attorney or other important Health Related Documents you should have a MedicAlert ID.

MedicAlert is an NHI user (Sched 2) on the Health Information Privacy Code, and also a registered charity with IRD donee status CC#25227.

People who have long term medical conditions may be eligible to receive MedicAlert for free through MSD/Winz or ACC. If you would like to know more please contact our team and we will happily help.

Ask your doctor to complete an electronic referral and/or complete the MedicAlert® enrolment form online (on www.medicalert.co.nz). Alternatively, you can call MedicAlert® Foundation New Zealand Inc for a hard copy enrolment form.
