Description

Our pharmacists provide clinical pharmacy services to inpatient departments at Rotorua and Taupō Hospitals. Clinical pharmacists and pharmacy technicians visit inpatient wards regularly to review medicine charts, provide medicine management services, monitor drug therapy and supply medication.

The Lakes DHB Pharmacy Service also provides medicine information and advice to medical and nursing staff and patients, as necessary.

We do not dispense outpatient prescriptions, except for a restricted range of medicines that are not normally available from a community pharmacy.
