Midwifery Service
Description
Charisma Midwifery Collective is a group of six like-minded midwives, working in primary teams of two - Carol & Sarah, Kirsten & Liz, Annette & Diane. We cover the Franklin region, looking after mothers and babies in Pukekohe, Waiuku, Tuakau and surrounding regions. We only book women who are planning to birth in a primary care setting - meaning you plan to birth either at Pukekohe Maternity Unit, or at home. We can also provide antenatal/postnatal care for women who have to birth at Middlemore Hospital for a medical reason. Each of our midwives has a routine 48-hour off-call period each week during this time your back up midwife is available for urgent care needs.
