Rata Alcohol & Other Drugs Service is the West Coast District Health Board’s specialist service for the assessment and treatment of alcohol and /or other drugs issues. We provide the pathway for referrals to social detoxification and residential treatment facilities. We also partner with local non-government organisations such as Emerge Aotearoa, Pact, Poutini Waiora, & Salvation Army to provide the most comprehensive range of alcohol and other drug treatments to the people of the West Coast.

Public Transport
St John runs two rural shuttle services from Monday - Friday. St John do not charge a fee for this services, however they do accept donations to help cover costs.
