Dr Michelle Wong is an Otolaryngologist, a specialist who deals with diseases and surgery of the Ear, Nose and Throat. She is a consultant at Auckland Hospital and also has a private practice on Auckland's North Shore.
Dr Wong has specialist interest in diseases of the ear and general ENT. This includes childhood ear and hearing problems, surgery for ear infections, cholesteatoma, problems with the bones of hearing, otosclerosis, Eustachian tube problems and balance. She is also a highly regarded specialist in general pediatric ENT, Nasal and Sinus disease.
She lectures at the University of Auckland Medical School and runs the Temporal Bone Laboratory. She introduced Laser Ear surgery, Endoscopic Ear surgery to New Zealand and is a founding member of the New Zealand Dizziness and Balance Center.
